Paragliding
Paragliding in the Sierra Nevada is certainly world class. The stable climate of Andalucia is a very long season, and the Sierra Nevada’s 3450 meters, and large temperature differences between day and night, it gives very good conditions for good thermal activity. Many come to the Sierra Nevada to get long XC flights or to get many hours of training in thermals flight. While there are also fine sea coasthang with lovely views of the sea for soaring.

Paragliding takeoffs are located about 20-60 minutes drive from Nerja and is relatively easy to find.
